Thank you for choosing Ani Braids. This policy keeps every appointment fair, on time and stress-free for you and for our stylists. By booking with us you agree to the terms below.
Booking Fee (Deposit)
A $30 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure every appointment. The fee is deducted from your final balance when you attend your appointment.
- The booking fee is non-refundable, including for cancellations and no-shows.
- Accepted booking fee methods are Zelle (2024244894, Anita Ateyam) and Cash App ($ awaanita25@gmail.com, Anita Ateyam).
- Please include your booking reference in the payment memo so we can match your payment.
- Your appointment is confirmed once the booking fee is received.
- The remaining balance is paid at the end of your appointment.
Scheduling
- Appointments can be booked online up to 60 days in advance.
- Online booking closes 1 hour before the start time; please call for same-hour availability.
- Studio hours are 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
- Walk-ins are welcome when space allows — please call at least one hour before arrival.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- You may reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your appointment.
- Within 48 hours of your appointment, your booking fee is forfeited and a new fee is required to rebook.
- One courtesy reschedule may be applied to a new date within 30 days, at the studio's discretion.
- Cancel or reschedule from your confirmation link, your account page, or by calling (202) 424-4894.
Lateness and No-Shows
- Please arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period is allowed.
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require a shorter style, a rescheduled appointment or an additional fee.
- No-shows forfeit the booking fee, and a new booking fee is required for future appointments.
Hair Preparation
- Arrive with hair washed, fully dried, detangled and free of heavy products unless your service includes a wash.
- If your hair requires additional preparation on arrival, extra time and a preparation fee may apply.
- Bring your own hair extensions when your chosen style requires them, unless otherwise arranged.
Guests and Children
- Please limit extra guests so the studio stays comfortable for everyone.
- Children being serviced must be able to sit comfortably for the length of the style.
Health and Comfort
- Let us know about any scalp sensitivity, tension concerns, allergies or recent treatments before we begin.
- We prioritise hair health. If a requested style would damage your hair, we will recommend a safer alternative.
