Knotless braids are a feed-in braiding technique. Instead of starting with a tight knot at the scalp, we begin with your own hair and gradually feed in extension hair, so the braid lies flatter and puts far less tension on the roots. That is why they feel lighter and more comfortable than traditional box braids.

With good aftercare, knotless braids typically stay neat for six to eight weeks. We cover this in detail in our blog post "How Long Do Knotless Braids Last?".

Plan for about 3 to 4 hours. Two stylists usually work on one head, which keeps installation times consistent across our styles.

Come with clean, fully dried and detangled hair, with no heavy product build-up. If you would like your hair washed or blow-dried at the studio, mention it when you book so we can allow time for it.

We are one studio at 4500 Forbes Blvd, Lanham, Maryland 20706, open 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily by appointment. Clients travel to us from Bowie, Greenbelt, Largo, Landover and Bladensburg.

Wrap your hair in a satin scarf or bonnet at night, keep your scalp lightly moisturised, cleanse gently at the scalp rather than scrubbing the lengths, and let braids dry completely after washing. Avoid pulling them into very tight styles, especially in the first week.

Braids should never be painful. Tell your stylist during the appointment so tension can be adjusted straight away. If tightness appears later, contact us and we will look at it rather than leaving it to settle.

Prices depend on the style, length, braid size and hair added. Every published price and estimate is shown on the service pages and again on the booking form before you confirm, so you always see the amount before booking.

Yes. A $30 deposit secures your slot and is paid by Cash App or Zelle during booking. You upload proof of payment before the booking is confirmed, and the deposit is applied to your balance at the studio.

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome during our opening hours (7:00 AM – 9:00 PM daily). Please call at least one hour before you arrive so we can secure your spot.

Yes. Every confirmation email includes a manage link where you can reschedule or cancel your appointment. Full details are on our booking policy page.
